Babe is my 15-year-old cat who is actually called a rag-doll cat. He was born in the wild in the wood pile across the street from my new home. We had no grass, no trees, nothing but dirt surrounding my house. We had just gotten home when I saw him, his mother and brother along the side of my house. My daughter says that I chased him into the window well but he was running toward the backyard and didn’t watch where he was running when down he fell into the window well.
His mother and brother look exactly like him; they left going across the street and disappeared. So we adopted him and had to feed him with a baby bottle because he was not weaned yet. Talk about fiesty! He was a real spit ball for the longest time.
It has been quite a year and now ever more changing. I started creating handmade earrings. I make myself a pair first and then others to sell. My friend Ann has encouraged me to make them; she says I have a flair for it. It’s a fun new hobby and something new to learn in my retirement years.
My best selling pair looks like the photo on this page. I have also signed up with Etsy.com – DiansEarrings.
