The Saturday before Easter we went to a small park and did the Easter egg hunt with my grandchildren. There was an Easter Bunny there – how fun! Everyone got to take a photo of the Easter Bunny with the kids. Not only did they find eggs and got a packet of candy for the egg but they also had egg-shaped cookies which the kids got to frost themselves. It was the first thing that they ate.
They also got a sugar egg decorated with frosting which had a peep hole in it and inside the egg was a little yellow duck. Later when we got home, my grandson took the wrapping off his sugar egg and then he put it in my china hutch so that it would not get broken – for safe keeping.
